We knew where we wanted to go, but not how to get there.
After more than a year of intense work with our partner GIMME SABOR, we developed a 100% plant-based product, vegan-certified, allergen-free and gluten-free, with the texture, colour and flavour of traditional tinned tuna. We named it GREENTUNA.
With the aim of moving towards a world that is kinder to nature and more respectful of animals, and to help preserve our seas and oceans, we present our plant-based protein with a tuna flavour. It is designed so that everyone who shares that outlook has a tasty, healthy food alternative.
CONSERVAS RIAS BAIXAS no longer produces tinned tuna, we have switched to GREENTUNA. We continue to explore new flavours and textures that we hope to bring you soon.
But GREENTUNA is not only for vegans or people with a fish allergy. It has a low energy value, zero sugars and a high dose of protein, 20 g of protein per tin, making it a great option for athletes or anyone with higher protein needs in their diet.
GREENTUNA comes in a traditional sterilised oval tin, giving it a shelf life of 6 years with no need for refrigeration.
